Job Description:
Blumont is seeking candidate for the position of HR Officer to perform a variety of human resource functions primarily related to the administration and recruitment of local staff. The major duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Essential Job Functions:
- Ensure transparent and bias-free recruitment process and that policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Maintain HR Personnel soft files updated all the time.
- Assist employees with routine HR related questions and issues.
- Update COMAC employee lists Follow up on HR related issues such as vacancy announcements, Screening CVs, arranging interviews, reference checks, making offer letters, contracts, and exit check list.
- Completing documents of new hired staff.
- Checking the hard and soft files of separated staff and make sure that all documents are completed.
- Making monthly pay slips for all staff.
- Preparing monthly Top Up Card List for staff.
- Obtaining details of newly hired staff for opening Bank Accounts.
- Preparing personnel files for all COMAC staff in accordance with Blumont procedures.
- Conducting background reference checks in SAM and UN lists and in Visual Compliance portal.
- Completing and checking timesheet package at the end of the month and submit for review of HR Manager.
- Tracking leave of all COMAC staff and working in close coordination with other HR responsible persons of all regions in order to make sure that their leave trackers are up to date.
- Arranging interviews and preparing interview packages for interview panel members
- Scan and copy all HR documents.
- Preparing Offer Letter, Amendment, Extension Letter and Agreement for staff
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field.
- 3 years’ experience in Human Resource Management, Administration, or any other related field is required. Experience of working with USAID funded projects will be preferred.
- Experience working in Human Resource Management as HR Officer or Senior HR Officer with international organizations and/or non-governmental organizations preferred.
- Full understanding of the NTA guidelines and administration of the NTA salary scale
- Prior experience working in an office setting.
- Fluent written Dari or Pashto required, strong written and verbal English skills preferred.
