Job Description
Overall Responsibilities:
Admin/HR Assistant will be responsible to support the administrative and human resource functions of AWUDO by assisting in day-to-day operations, ensuring effective recruitment, onboarding, and staff management processes. Collaborate with the Operations/HR team to provide administrative support across various departments, maintain employee records, handle HR-related inquiries, and ensure compliance with AWUDO policies and regulations. Contribute to the development and enhancement of HR processes to foster a positive work environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job vacancies, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
- Support new employee onboarding by preparing orientation materials, coordinating training sessions, and facilitating the completion of necessary paperwork.
- Maintain employee records, including personnel files, benefits information, and attendance records.
- Assist in payroll processing, including verifying timesheets, calculating hours worked, and addressing payroll-related queries.
- Facilitate employee performance appraisal processes, including scheduling reviews, collecting feedback, and updating performance records.
- Handle HR-related inquiries from employees regarding policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Assist in organizing HR-related events and activities, such as training sessions, workshops, and team-building events.
- Manage office operations, including maintaining office supplies, coordinating maintenance services, and ensuring a clean and organized work environment.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team and other departments as needed.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
- Support employee engagement initiatives by collecting feedback and suggesting improvements to enhance workplace culture.
- Track and report on HR metrics, such as turnover rates and employee satisfaction.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in HR or administrative roles.
- Knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and HR software systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
