About Sultan Taza Food Production: Sultan Taza Food Production, established in 2017 under the Kefayat Group in Mazar e Sharif, has quickly grown into one of Afghanistan's leading dairy producers. Despite the owners being new to the business world, their eight years of experience in animal husbandry—focusing on cows and apiculture—has been a key driver in their success. With an investment of over one million USD, the company ventured into dairy production. Job Description

  1. Responsible for the achievement of sales, marketing, communications, distribution and public relations mission, goals and financial objectives. Ensure that evaluation systems are in place related to these goals and objectives and report progress to General Manager.
  2. Develop short- and long-term plans for the sales, marketing, communications, distribution and public relations program and its activities, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance,
  3. Develop, implement and monitor systems and procedures necessary to the smooth operation of the sales, marketing, communications, public relations function.
  4. Ensure effective management within the sales, marketing, communications distribution and public relations function, with provision for succession.
  5. Having proper monitoring on chillers (Refrigerators) which is given to customers for sales increment.
  6. Maintaining and building contacts with the Hotels, Restaurants, supermarkets and another companies;
  7. Managing the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters and flyers - this can involve writing and proofreading copy and liaising with designers and printers;
  8. Arranging effective distribution of marketing materials;
  9. Maintaining and updating mailing databases;
  10. Organizing and attending events and exhibitions;
  11. Securing sponsorship to assist with the publicity and funding of marketing projects;
  12. Carrying out market research and customer surveys to assess demand, brand positioning and awareness;
  13. Evaluating marketing campaigns;
  14. Monitoring competitor activity;
  15. Providing quotes and preparing contracts for different customers.
  16. Analyzing pricing positions;
  17. Contributing to and developing long-term marketing plans and strategies;
  18. Assisting in the delivery of approved strategies;
  19. Regular follow ups with the provincial Sales Representatives and report the updates to the senior management of STFP. To produce a Sales and Marketing strategic business plan in line with agreed points of the management of STFP.
  20. To produce sales and marketing material and ideas in order to attract new business e.g. sales proposals, PowerPoint presentations, conference publications, advertising, editorial, press releases and company brochures etc.
  21. Maintain and monitor the customer database to enable trends to be analyzed, segments identified and products and services developed to achieve continued business growth.
  22. Initiate new packages in order to add value to existing place STFP has in the market and also to generate more revenue, whilst creating sales opportunities for potential new business.
  23. Maintain and monitor Commercial Services website information updating and developing products and services to achieve continued business growth.
  24. Making a strong databased for the customers & chillers of the factory.
  25. Achieve agreed annual Sales targets (which will be finalized in item No 1) in accordance with the Sales & Marketing business plan.
  26. Liaise and build effective relationships with internal/external service providers and customers.
  27. As line manager for the Marketing section, arrange an annual performance review and training of relevant staff.
  28. Lead, manage, develop and train the sales agents to optimize sales, offer an excellent service to clients and develop a truly customer services/sales driven culture.
  29. Be committed to and work towards achieving the standards of Investors in People and Hospitality assured meetings, to ensure that staff are aware of business objectives, understand their role in achieving them and are encouraged and enabled to undertake training and development.
  30. To make a freelance sales agent team.
  31. Fulfill such other duties and assignments as may be required by STFP within the scope of the post.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree (BBA preferred).
  • Minimum of three years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in local languages & English (both written and spoken).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with Afghanistan’s government administrative structure.
  • Deep understanding of Afghan culture, local governance, and leadership traditions
