Job Description

We are looking to hire a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Officer to work alongside our sales team and identify the most effective solutions to increase the company’s sales. The responsibilities of the Sales officer include suggesting improvements to current sales strategies, informing potential and existing customers about the company’s promotions, and preparing accurate reports on sales and expenses. They should also be able to continuously identify new sales opportunities.

To succeed as a Sales Officer, the qualified individual must be knowledgeable about industry regulations. Ultimately, an outstanding Sales Officer should have a strong work ethic and exceptional communication, negotiation, and customer service skills at all times.

Responsibilities of the Sales Officer:

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
  • Evaluate, assess performance, and train sales staff.
  • Contact potential customers to explain the company’s products and encourage purchases.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and refer complex issues to relevant departments as needed.
  • Acquire accurate and up-to-date knowledge about the company’s products.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales, scheduled appointments with customers, and customer complaints.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to ensure the company reaches its target audience.
  • Inform the logistics and production teams about potential improvements and changes to products to ensure that the company’s products meet current market needs.
  • Prepare and analyze profit and loss reports for potential and existing customers to determine the most suitable purchasing options.
  • Analyse competitors’ products to identify features, advantages, shortcomings, and market successes.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or other related fields pertinent to this role.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant sales experience.
  • Sufficient knowledge of sales strategies and industry regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and consultative selling skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with proficiency in verbal, written, and presentation skills in Persian, Pashto, and English.
  • Ability to be flexible in negotiations.
  • Familiarity with cultural nuances of communities.
  • Proficient in computer skills and intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access software.
