About Turquoise Mountain: Turquoise Mountain is a non-profit, non-governmental organization specializing in urban regeneration, business development, and education in traditional arts and architecture. Since 2006 Turquoise Mountain has cleared 36,000 cubic meters of rubbish from the streets, restored or built 150 historic and community buildings, created a primary school and a clinic, and installed water, electricity, and sanitation through the historic traditional craft neighborhood of Murad Khani in the old city of Kabul. It has created the internationally accredited Institute for Afghan Arts & Architecture, training the next generation of craftsmen and women in woodwork, jewelry and gem cutting, calligraphy and miniature painting, and ceramics. Finally, it has sold over US$15,000,000 of Afghan artisan products internationally.
Job Description
The HR Assistant will be responsible for overall effective and timely management of staff attendance, as well as providing day-to-day HR administrative support.
- Track and maintain records of staff electronic attendance on a daily basis.
- Generate monthly attendance reports, calculate working hours, and offer corrective suggestions as needed.
- Collect, record, and file staff leave forms and monthly timesheets.
- Gather staff overtime claims, cross-verify them with E-attendance records.
- Maintain good filing system both hard and soft.
- Prepare ID cards for new staff.
- Support the recruitment and selection process.
- Prepare and process pre-selection documents for new hires, including medical records, criminal checks, reference check, TIN, and Guarantee Letters.
- Assist in updating and implementation of the HRIS system, preferably Sage HR.
- Assist in daily HR administrative tasks.
- Assist in implementation of training, workshops, seminars, and programs.
- Contribute to staff probationary and annual performance appraisal processes.
- Provide support in the process of separation/termination as per the policy & guidelines and make sure all formalities and related documents are completed before exit of departing staff.
- Undertake any other HR-related tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or any other relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Human Resources.
- Have a good experience of managing E-Attendance System and Excell databases.
- Good computer skills, MS Office programs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Tactful, well disciplined, and punctual
