Job Description
Purpose of The Position:
The Cook will be helping the administration to maintain a well-served services & neat environment at all time.
Generic responsibilities.
Adhere to WHH policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines
Promote and share ideas for improvement
Perform according to the work and development plan
Specific Responsibilities
Responsible for food items and preparing lunch for all staff.
Responsible for maintaining the kitchen items properly
Responsible to have a proper record of the kitchen supplies
To maintain an updated lunch menu for staff
To procure food items from market on daily bases
Set up, arrange, or remove decorations, tables, chairs, or ladders to prepare facilities for events, such as meetings & trainings.
Ensure hygiene and tidiness of the kitchen and make sure the refrigerator is clean all the time.
Ensure sufficient supply of tea and hot water during office hours.
Wash and clean crockery after each time meal and arrange them in the cupboards.
Clean the kitchen after each time meal every day.
Responsible for collecting and washing the dishes
Responsible for checking the supplies tea, sugar etc. in the kitchen
Responsible for preparing and serve tea for staff
Responsible for arranging refreshment for trainings.
Suggest new food menu from time to time.
Storing raw food materials in proper way.
Job Requirement
Qualifications and Education Requirement:
High School graduate
Must have required cooking skills.
At least 2 years’ Experience working as Cook
Knowledge of NGO working environment
Knowledge about support section.
Initiative with cooking.
