Job Description

Project Planning and Implementation:

  • Assist in the development of project work plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Ensure timely and effective implementation of project activities as per the plan.
  • Coordinate with field teams to manage day-to-day operations.
  • Identify challenges and propose solutions to keep the project on track.
  • Monitor project progress against set objectives and indicators.
  • Conduct regular field visits to assess implementation and collect data.
  • Prepare and submit detailed progress reports, including successes, challenges, and lessons learned.
  • Ensure compliance with donor requirements and organizational policies.
  • Liaise with local authorities, community leaders, partner organizations, and beneficiaries.
  • Represent the organization at meetings, workshops, and coordination forums.
  • Foster positive relationships with all stakeholders to support project success.
  • Assist in managing project resources, including staff, budgets, and materials.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of project equipment and assets.
  • Work with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies.
  • Support the training and development of project staff and community members.
  • Organize workshops, seminars, and other capacity-building activities.
  • Identify and mitigate risks that may impact project delivery.
  • Ensure that all activities are conducted in a safe and ethical manner.

Any related or important tasks and responsibilities as required, if assigned by the line manager.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.

A master’s degree or additional certifications in project management are an advantage.

  • Minimum 4–5 years of experience in project management or a similar role with INGO
  • Experience in implementing projects in [specify sector: education, agriculture, livelihoods, etc.].

Technical Skills   

  • Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and monitoring.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in report writing and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
