Job Description
Team leader
Team leader will train the surveyors, supervise the activities, develop/modify the forms/questionairs, analyse the raw data and prepare different required reports in the Behsood and Jaghatu district and transcript the data
The survey is supposed to be implemented in 2 districts of Maidan Wardak (Behsood and Jaghatu) the survey include FGD, household, service mapping, daily calendear, markets and KII with relevant stakeholders.
Job Description:
- Persons with a MEAL and health/Nutrition background should be hired to undertake the Nutrition KIIs and service mapping, ideally with a socio-cultural understanding of target districts.
- Persons with a MEAL background and understanding of community risk preparedness and/or community development and/or Cash for Work would be ideal for undertaking Assessment.
- Person with proven ability in accurate and efficient use of Kobo Tools are preferred for undertaking Household assessments.
- Persons with proven and successful community facilitation experience and an understanding of the socio-cultural dynamics of target districts are preferred.
- Under supervision of a team leader and Monitoring and Evaluation Supervisor,
- The Surveyors are responsible for the following listed tasks:
- A daily visit of HH and fill related questionnaire using COBO software
- Interview the head of household and fill up pre prepared questionnaires during field visits;
- Support team leader for selection of households;
- Organize, manage and implement individual interviews and focus group discussions with community members;
- Organizing and conducting Key Informant Interviews (KII) with identified stakeholders, Interview group of active stakeholders in the area;
- Establish respectful relation with interviewee, in order to encourage them for appropriate answers;
- Ensure respect of rules and procedures;
- Participate in trainings/workshop related to the project and job description;
- Support the team leader and M&E supervisor by providing correct and appropriate data;
- Coordinate the work with field officers and awareness officers in the field;
- Respecting the confidentiality of interviewee and collected data
- Report his/her activities to the line manager;

Job Requirement
- Graduate of 12th grade, having a bachelor’s degree will be an asset
- At least 4 years of experience of collecting data or field activities
- Experience in community-based intervention and ability to deal with different respondents;
- Very good skills on representation and speech in public;
- IT skills with excellent knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel;
- Good reporting skills and synthesis abilities;
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in team;
- Be adapted to hard working environment;
