Job Description

Apama Consultancy Services is lookiing for qualified conaadiate for an upcoming construction and health monitoring project. 

Project Management Roles

  1. Team Leader:

    • Provides strategic oversight for all project activities, ensuring alignment with objectives and managing stakeholder relationships.
    • Leads the project team, addresses challenges, and implements risk management strategies to maintain project direction and performance.
  2. Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist:

    • Designs and implements the project’s monitoring framework, focusing on assessing impact, efficiency, and effectiveness.
    • Conducts data analysis, prepares M&E reports, and offers recommendations to improve project execution.
  3. Finance Specialist:

    • Manages project finances, including budget tracking, compliance, and financial reporting.
    • Conducts financial reviews, identifies risks, and ensures transparency and adherence to donor and budgetary guidelines.
  4. Data Management Specialist:

    • Establishes and maintains data management systems for accurate tracking and reporting.
    • Ensures data integrity and provides data-driven insights to support decision-making.
  5. Reporting Specialist:

    • Compiles monitoring findings into structured reports that meet donor and stakeholder standards.
    • Prepares interim and final reports, highlighting project achievements, challenges, and lessons learned.
  6. Community Engagement Specialist:

    • Engages with community stakeholders, gathering feedback and fostering collaboration.
    • Organizes community meetings and ensures inclusive communication to address community needs and concerns.

Job Requirement

Team Leader

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Project Management, International Development, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Experience: At least 10 years in project management, with a minimum of 5 years in leadership roles, preferably within development, humanitarian, or infrastructure projects.
  • Skills: Proven ability to manage large teams, excellent stakeholder management, risk assessment and mitigation, and strong strategic planning and decision-making abilities.

Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Statistics, Monitoring & Evaluation, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years in monitoring and evaluation roles, with at least 3 years in project monitoring within a relevant sector.
  • Skills: Proficiency in data analysis software (such as SPSS or STATA), strong analytical and reporting skills, and familiarity with M&E frameworks and methodologies.

Finance Specialist

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years in finance management, with at least 3 years focused on project finance or budget management.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of financial management principles, proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP), attention to detail, and experience in financial compliance and audit.

Data Management Specialist

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in data management, including 3 years with data analysis and management systems.
  • Skills: Strong data management and analysis skills, proficiency in data tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI), and a solid understanding of data security and integrity practices.

Reporting Specialist

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Communications, International Development, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in reporting and documentation, with 3 years focused on project-related reporting.
  • Skills: Excellent written communication and documentation skills, familiarity with reporting standards, and the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, structured reports.

Community Engagement Specialist

  • Education: High school diploma (Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Community Development, or a related field preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in community engagement or outreach roles, with at least 2 years in a similar field context.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and experience in organizing and leading community meetings and consultations.
