Job Description
- Position Summary:
- The HMIS coordinator is responsible to record the data, collect the data, Analyze the data and report the data, maintain proper registration filling system within HFs. Supervise the HFs and give feed back to the visited HFs.
Essential Responsibilities And Duties:
- Monitoring and supervision of the health facilities;
- Conducting on the job training for quality recording , registering and reporting;
- Giving feedback as finding of supervision of the health facilities;
- To ensure that all HFs are implementing standard HMIS tools and guideline in the whole province HFs.
- To ensure that the HFs are registered in the MoPH-HMIS department as well as in HeRAMS system and each HFs has HMIS code.
- Entering data to MoPH - DHIS2 database on monthly basis.
- Ensuring that CRFM and GRM system is in placed;
- Working with other doctors as part of a team, either in the same department or within other specialties;
- Collecting the report, information and data on monthly basis analyzing the data and reporting the data on time.
- Ensure that the data is reported through DHIS2, Report Hub and other reporting system;
- Promoting health education;
- Ensure that the quality standard applied in the HFs.
- Ensure from the IPC in the HFs.
- Conduct any planed survey as per proposal.
- Adherence to all organizational policies and procedures as outlined in RIs’ policies and procedure manuals.
- Conduct him/herself both professionally and personally in such a manner as to bring credit to RI and not to jeopardize its humanitarian mission.
Any other tasks assigned by the line manager.
Job Requirement
- Medical Doctor (MD degree)/Public Health
- At least 3 years work experience in Health sector as M&E.
- Preferably, with international donor-funded projects, UN agencies or NGO's on relevant programs in Afghanistan.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
Fluency in Dari and Pashto. Excellent in English.
