About Organization For Sustainable Development & Research (OSDR): Organization for Sustainable Development and Research (OSDR) is a non-governmental, non-political and non-profit organization created on 2008 by a group of sympathetic Afghans with aims for working in the field of survey, monitoring & evaluation, disaster risk management, sustainable development and agriculture capacity building. OSDR is officially registered with the Ministry of Economy of Afghanistan under certificate no. 1187 dated 8th, May 2008. OSDR vision is to support social and economic development with special focus on the most vulnerable communities through provision of skill, knowledge and information. OSDR mission is to provide policy and decision makers, during ongoing reconstruction, nation and state building process, with timely and reliable data and information for an informed decision and to develop indigenous human capacities to ensure future self-reliance and sustainable development

Job Description

  • Collect the data both quantitative and qualitative using pre designed research and survey questionnaires.
  • Organize and conduct field data collection according to data quality standards in local languages in targeted areas for the project and provide a draft report.
  • Participate in the relevant trainings when requested.
  • Weekly reporting on the progress of work to supervisor.
  • Participate in the debriefing at the end of fieldwork.
  • Performing any other related tasks assigned by responsible authorities.
  • Travelling to targeted areas in mentioned provinces.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor degree in relevant field.
  • 3 years of relevant experience at the national level.
  • Fluency in Dari and Pashto (Writing, Reading and Speaking)
  • Good communication skills
  • Honest and Responsible
  • Excellent organizational, coordination, and communications skills;
  •  Willing to work in the field for extended hours
