Job Description

Data Collection:

  • Conduct door-to-door surveys to verify beneficiary eligibility and compliance with project standards.
  • Collect accurate and comprehensive data on beneficiaries, ensuring all required information is obtained.
  • Follow the survey protocol and guidelines provided during training to ensure consistency and accuracy in data collection.
  • Clearly explain the purpose of the survey to beneficiaries and answer any questions they may have.
  • Maintain a respectful and professional demeanor while interacting with beneficiaries, ensuring their comfort and cooperation.
  • Accurately record and document all survey responses using the provided tools and systems.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of all collected data, following organizational policies and data protection protocols.
  • Submit completed surveys and data reports to the supervisor or designated staff in a timely manner.
  • Conduct follow-up visits or calls as needed to verify and clarify survey responses.
  • Participate in data verification and validation processes to ensure the accuracy and completeness of collected information.
  • Coordinate with project staff and supervisors to ensure alignment of survey activities with overall project objectives.

Job Requirement

  • High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Community Development, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in data collection, survey administration, or a related field, preferably within the NGO sector or similar organizations.
  • Experience in conducting door-to-door surveys or field data collection is an asset.
