About PU-AMI: About Première Urgence - Aide Médicale Internationale (PU-AMI) PU-AMI (known globally as Première Urgence Internationale, PUI) is a non-governmental, non-profit, non-political and non-religious international aid organization. PU-AMI’s teams are committed to support vulnerable communities and populations, those marginalized, hit by conflict, natural disaster or economic downturns. PU-AMI’s main objective is to contribute to reduction in morbidity and mortality, and provide emergency relief to those in immediate need in order to help them regain their dignity. Afghan mission is the oldest of PUI missions, with the first medical intervention launched in 1979 just after the Soviet troops crossed the country’s borders. PU-AMI teams currently deliver the integrated health care, combined with nutrition, psychosocial support; water, sanitation and hygiene (wash), as well as trauma services. The organization implements projects mainly in eastern parts of the country, and increasingly in the South-East Region. Since the COVID-19 outbreak in 2020, PU-AMI has also positioned itself as one of the main actors in preparedness and response to the pandemic, implementing health and wash-cantered activities at health facilities and community level in Kabul and beyond. Globally, PUI provides assistance to around 6 million people in 23 countries and across 5 continents: Africa, Asia, Middle East, Latin America, and Europe. Job Description

To facilitate the functioning of PU-AMI programs by ensuring timely and effective logistics support.
Objective 1هدف اول :
Recruitment activitiesفعالیت ها/ وظایف عمده:
Tasks and Responsibilities
Procurement:
- The Logistic Officer is responsible to create and maintain a comprehensive procurement tracker for each project, which is shared on a weekly basis with relevant stakeholders.
- The Logistics Officer is responsible to ensure the quality/transparency and integrity of procurement activities in Paktia. He/she ensures that procurement activities are accountable, in compliance with PU-AMI Procurement policies, guidelines & regulations.
- Ensures all procurement requests are treated in a timely and efficient manner and ensures delays are communicated promptly to the interested colleague.
- The logistics officer ensures the quality of goods/services meets the specifications provided by the requester.
- The logistics officer is responsible for effectively and orderly filling and archiving of procurement documents. He/she ensures that all procurements are properly documented and that files are complete, in line with PU-AMI procurement guidelines, donors and audit requirements.
- Receives and validates requests forms and purchase orders, based on requirements.
- To purchase all necessary equipment and materials, respecting PU-AMI’s procedures.
- Supervise and manage procurements carried out by assistant logisticians
- Preparation of letter to governmental department for processing the work.

Attendance management acctivitiesفعالیت ها/ وظایف عمده:
Fleet Management:
- Ensures that vehicles and generators are regularly served and functional, including a proper recording of log books, fuel consumption and service costs.
- Ensures safe operational use of PU-AMI fleet by implementing and respecting of PU-AMI SOP’s.
- Ensures the rental vehicles contracts are valid and following up monthly payment requests with finance department.
- To manage and follow-up on vehicles and generators maintenance and repair.
Objective 3هدف سوم :
Activities/Main dutiesفعالیت ها/ وظایف عمده:
Support Pharmacy activities:
- As a part of life saving activities in Afghan, the Logistics officer is responsible to provide logistics support and facilitate receiving and dispatching medical equipment and drugs.
- The logistic officer is responsible to facilitate the means of transportations, loading and offloading of medical equipment and drugs from/to health facilities, across the country.
Objective 4هدف چهارم
Activities/Main dutiesفعالیت ها/ وظایف عمده:
Warehouse:
- Preparing and organizing proper storing space, for medical and non-medical equipment and material.
- Receiving stationary and other goods from the local bazaar and distributes them, according to requests and after collecting the necessary authorisations.
- Preparing lists for office needs.
- Receiving equipment from HQ and ensuring effective documentation and filling of receptions.
- Rent trucks for supplying of goods and drugs to field sites, as requested by programs department.
- Preparing waybills and packaging lists, good received notes and other logistics documents, as required and based on PU-AMI guidelines and procedures.

Assets Management:
- Ensure effective follow-up and registering of all assets on the base
- Maintain an updated inventory list, as per PU-AMI’s procedures and guidelines.
- Maintain an updated register of assets assigned to staff and make sure to collect their signatures on assets handling forms.
- Ensure all assets are functional and kept in good and safe conditions; ensure the follow up of regular maintenance and repair of all assets present on the base.
- Document all transfer, disposals or donation of assets to other partners or bases.
Job Requirement

University Degree in related field;
Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in Logistics;
INGO experience; PU-AMI experience is an asset;
Excellent interpersonal skills;
Good communication and negotiation skills;
Commitment to the values, vision and mission of PU-AMI Afghanistan;
Good computer skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel and outlook);
Self-motivation and strong team spirit;
Upheld honesty, transparency and integrity in all of his tasks.
