About NECDO: Background information: NECDO owned by local Afghan women, it is non-governmental, impartial and non-political organization, registered with Ministry of Economy in 2002 with INO.95. NECDO established in January 2001 by a group of volunteers to help and support needy Afghan women, youth, and children in the Refugee camps of Pakistan. When Afghan nation was passing from the time tested moments of its history. The Soviet hand over and destructive civil war of Mujahedeen resulted in material and spiritual losses for the nation. NECDO started its activities with small means, and a great purpose, which based on humanitarian and development assistance. During social activities in camps, NECDO realized that Peace in Afghanistan is possible through education, capacity building and income generation. This was the priority set forth in that time. Therefore, NECDO has contributed for women, youth and children through its multidimensional activities within 22 provinces of Afghanistan for last seventeen years. NECDO firmly believes that it is better to light a candle, instead of cursing the darkness because the one-lighted candle will be in position to light a few more around and this way we will get rid of the darkness and conflicts. Job Description

  1. Assist in data collection, including household-level assessment verification, distribution and post-distribution monitoring, price monitoring, and other surveys and assessments as needed.
  2. Support the overall monitoring of program activities, follow established M&E protocols
  3. Participate in implementing monitoring plans in coverage area
  4. In line guidelines, verify eligibility of beneficiary households
  5. Monitor in-kind and cash transfer distributions to ensure that intended materials/cash are distributed to registered beneficiaries and as scheduled.
  6. Verify distribution figure and information
  7. Submit reports on distribution/activities monitoring result, challenges faced and lessons learned
  8. Record and document beneficiary/community feedback, in line with Community Feedback protocols
  9. Submit all monitoring results, assessment results, survey results to database staff.
  10. Ensure proper handling and movement of any project monitoring, assessment, and survey files

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s Degree related field with 3 years’ experience with specific experience in survey.
  • Experience in organizing and/or conducting facilitation activities, including survey, verification, scope, and distribution.
  • Experience working on WFP –UCSS -CBT project (preferred).
  • Experience working with other donor-funded programs.
  • Excellent communication skills in the local languages. (Pashto and Dari)
