About BARAN: Bu Ali Rehabilitation and Aid Network (BARAN) is a nongovernmental, non-political and independent organization. BARAN has been established in 27.7.2006 registered with the Ministry of Economy (MoEc), Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), Ministry of Education (MoE) , Ministry of labour, Social Affairs, Martyrs and Disabled (MoLSAMD), Ministry of Justice (MoJ) and Ministry of Women Affairs (MoWA) in order to deliver standard health care, social and educational services including conducting researches. Special attention is given for the community development by promoting capacity building programs.
Job Description
- Responsible for the COVID-19 vaccination activities of the project at provincial level.
- Ensure that the selected health facilities and service delivery point have functional and proper COVID-19 vaccination units is in place.
- Ensure that all COVID-19 vaccine are available in each selected health facility and service delivery points.
- Supervise, evaluate and follow- up the activity and output of COVID-19 vaccinators in all selected health facilities and service delivery points.
- Ensure COVID-19 vaccination reports are prepared properly and submitted timely.
- Responsible to maintain effective coordination and close communication with REMT, UN agencies and other stakeholders both at provincial and central level to ensure proper COVID-19 services at each selected Health facilities and service delivery points.
- Provide on the job training to COVID-19 vaccinators during supportive supervision.
- Maintain specific focus on cold chain of vaccines and requisition, receiving and supply procedures and recording documents as per National EPI and other MoPH/related guidelines and policies.
- Regularly Participate in all COVID-19 related meetings and workshop at provincial and community level.
- Any other tasks and responsibilities as required for the implementation of the project and requested by direct supervisor.
Job Requirement
At least one year of proven experience in the field EPI and public health;
At least diploma degree in health section ;
Strong communications skills;
Fluent English, Pashto, and Dari with excellent speaking and writing skills
Proficient computing skills including word processing, spreadsheets, design and presentations
