Job Description

The Branch Manager will be responsible for driving sales, operation and maintaining relationships with clients, and achieving revenue targets in the cargo, Courier and logistics sectors. The role requires proactive engagement with customers to promote services, negotiate deals, and provide exceptional service to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Duties & Responsibilities

Sales & Operations

  • Identify potential clients and market opportunities to increase cargo & courier sales.
  • Promote cargo and courier services to clients and negotiate contracts effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide detailed information about cargo & Courier services, pricing, and delivery options.
  • Resolve customer complaints and address service-related issues promptly and professionally.
  • Directing all operational aspects including distribution, customer service pickup and packing of the shipments  
  • Manage international and domestic shipments including proper security check-up and Documentation
  • Hire, manage, and maintain a workforce, transportation as per requirement of Branch and HQ
  • Short and long-range operational planning to meet branch goals.

Market Analysis

  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Recommend strategies to improve market share and optimize pricing.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis for management review
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales transactions, and service agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with the cargo operations team.


Job Requirement

  • Proven experience in cargo sales, logistics, or freight forwarding.
  • Strong understanding of cargo operations and industry regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Existing network of clients in the logistics or cargo industry.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluency in English, Pashto & Dari.
