About ASOW: Afghan Social Organization for Women (ASOW) is a non-governmental, non-profit, and non-political Afghan national organization established and registered with the Ministry of Economy in 2020. ASOW works for the development of Afghan society, especially women and children through providing education services, arranging capacity-building programs, imparting vocational skills training, ensuring food security, and emergency relief assistance in times of natural or man-made calamities. ASOW aims to improve the socio-economic condition of women throughout the country by providing necessary assistance and designing programs that will equip them with the right skills to take an active part in the development of society.

Job Description

Role Summary

We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee the implementation of our current project. You will ensure all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are met while working closely with team members to maintain project momentum. Responsibilities include submitting deliverables, preparing status reports, and establishing effective communication plans to support successful project execution.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with cross-functional team members to keep all parties on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
  • Meet with team members to identify and resolve issues.
  • Submit project deliverables while ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Prepare status reports by gathering and summarizing relevant information.
  • Establish and execute effective project communication plans.
  • Facilitate change requests, ensuring all parties are informed of schedule and budget impacts.
  • Conduct post-project evaluation to identify successful and unsuccessful elements.
  • Develop and track a detailed project plan.
  • Manage client relationships and stakeholder communications.
  • Maintain relationships with third parties and vendors.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.

Job Requirement

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree and at least 4 years of experience in a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an advantage.
  • Proven project management experience with the ability to lead teams to successful completion.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
  • Ability to manage project budgets and complete projects on time.
