The board as well as the managing team has a great deal of experience in human rights in particular women and children rights promotion. About 90% of the board members and managing staff are master’s degree holders from renowned national and international institutions. Some of the board members and technical advisors have degrees in conflict and co-existence and sustainable international development from the renowned universities in the United States. The organization has a regional coverage through undertaking various Educational, Legal Rights, Human Rights, Teacher Training, Lobby and Advocacy, Community Awareness, Child Protection, Emergency response, Catch-up, Vocational Trainings, Women Rights, Child Rights, Support of formal justice system, Strengthen the informal justice system, Women Support to Electoral Process, Elimination of violation against women and children, Human Rights, peace reconciliation, conflict resolution in peace building. Capacity Building of Civil Society Organizations, Community (youth) and Governmental Institutions in Research methods, Project Designing, Proposal writing, Report Writing, Lobby & Advocacy, Gender Mainstreaming, forms youth committees to support child protection in emergence, M&E and Business Communication, Provincial and District Government Civil Servants Developmental in General Management, Financial Management, Income generation and Vocational Training Projects in different Sectors for the overall population of Afghanistan.
Job Description
General Overview:
This internship offers a comprehensive opportunity to delve into various functions within an NGO, including HR, finance, program management, procurement, IT, and M&E.
HR:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job listings and screening resumes.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires
- Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and wellness programs.
- Help maintain employee records and HR databases.
- Participate in special projects and provide administrative support as needed.
Finance:
- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Support financial reporting activities, including data analysis and presentation of findings.
- Help process and track expenditures to ensure compliance with financial policies.
- Contribute to the analysis of financial performance and variance reporting.
- Participate in special projects and provide administrative support as needed.
Program Management:
- Assist in the planning, execution, and evaluation of various programs and projects.
- Support communication efforts with stakeholders, including participants, partners, and community members.
- Contribute to data collection and analysis for program performance metrics.
- Help organize events, workshops, and training sessions.
- Participate in team meetings and provide input on program strategies.
Procurement:
- Aid procurement officer in vendor selection and contract management. Help in inventory management and ensuring the timely acquisition of goods and services.
IT:
- Help IT officer to provide technical support for software and hardware issues. Assist in maintaining the organization's IT systems and ensuring data security.
Monitoring and Evaluation:
- Assist in the development and refinement of monitoring and evaluation plans.
- Support data collection, entry, and analysis to assess project effectiveness and impact.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure data quality and accuracy.
- Contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations on M&E findings.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings and assist in developing recommendations for program improvements.
Job Requirement
1. Newly university graduates and Ideal candidates should be pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Management or a related field, with strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in finance within a collaborative environment.
