Job Description

To further develop good working relationships with staff, social workers, community workers, government departments, CPAN members, community leaders, parents and children.

Work with related departments to improve access of children in conflict with the law to child-friendly juvenile justice and promote alternatives to detention as enshrined in the Letter of Agreement.

To Support the social workers on assessment of children & their families and case management.

To Support the social workers on preparation of Reports.

To collect data and information requested by the Project Manager.

Preparation and filling out of Social Inquiry Reports from CPAN center.

Developing care plans which include plan for reintegration of children with their family and community.

Reintegration of children with their families and community Responding to child protection issues

To support the social workers to develop care plans which include plan for reintegration of children with their family and community.

To maintain link between staff in the CPAN and district level community workers to ensure contact between children and their families and support reintegration of children with their families and communities.

Keep records of any visits, phone calls or emails received from social workers and community workers requesting support.

Attend monthly meetings and meetings arranged by the Project Manager.

Ensure that all activities are implemented according to the monthly activity plan and in line with the project objectives To plan and implement Supporting/on the job training of staff in the GBV on:

Keep records of Supporting sessions and effectiveness of sessions.

The Social Work will be required to prepare a monthly plan of their activities that will clearly lay out what he/she wishes to implement in the following month.  This plan will be submitted to Project Manager in the last week of every month.

The Social Work will ensure that all activities are implemented according to the monthly activity plan and in line with the project objectives. In the last week of each month the Social Work will submit a brief

Job Requirement

Bachelor degree.
With 3  years of experience in related field 
Strong communication skill in Pashto, Dari and English languages;
Sufficient knowledge in relevant field.
Strong familiarity with cultural norms and security context in the region;
Should have strong report writing skills and familiarity with computer programming;

Experience of and commitment to working through systems of community participation and accountability
