Job Description

  • Issue Request for Quotation for procurement purchases of goods/services.
  • Preparing the Financial and technical offer for Tenders.
  • Experienced in UNGM and NGOs Online tender portal.
  • Experienced in Online offer submission in UNGM and NGOs Online portals.
  • Take part in Government and NGO’s bid openings Meetings as official representative of the company.
  • Coordinate the implementation of purchases and service agreements.
  • Contract and price Negotiations experience with Manufacturers.
  • Writes Negotiation Memos, Single Source Memos, and Selection Memos. 
  • Prepare recommendations and price analyses for the purchase of substitute items that are economical to NHH Ltd by consulting the manufacturer's catalog and conducting market surveys.
  • Monitor, track, and expedite NHH Ltd tender participation Plans and timing.
  • Monitor, track, and expedite NHH Ltd procurement activities and delivery status of goods/services of the Projects.
  • Prepare requests for payments, leases, etc.
  • Liquidate and make amendments to the Purchase Orders, after checking all payment statuses of the Purchase Orders and discussing/consultations with the Buyers and account holders.
  • Distribute the Purchase Orders, internally and externally via e-mail.
  • Performance forms and procedures. Ensure timely and accurate entry of vendor information.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with the Procurement Committee Members to collect quotations, check the specifications of required goods and services, and procure items as per the request and requirements for projects and tenders.
  • Following up on Document processing with the Ministries’ departments and NGOs.
  • Keep daily records
  • Research New Products and services to meet the company’s goals
  • Manage and handle a good filing system.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirement

  • A university degree in Business Administration, Economics, Management, or any other relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of progressive work experience in procurement, acquisitions, and contracts management, preferably with international projects. Or NGOs on relevant programs in Afghanistan
  • Strong English professional writing skills.
  • Fluency in English and Pashto, Dari a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent Computer skills.
  • Ability to prepare meaningful reports.
