About Friends Community Development Organization: FCDO is a non-Governmental, Non-Political national Organization registered with the Ministry of Economy under license no 3680. FCDO has been launched to empower women and children and raise them to play their parts and roles in society. It supports vulnerable households, widows, women-headed households, women, children, unemployed people, and Orphans.it is all based on cultural, economic, and social aspects, many families in Afghanistan don’t have any other source to generate their monthly revenue, which can be counted as 80 percent of cases surveyed are the same who send their children outside hardworking and doing many heavy works and are begging on streets. FCDO is mainly working on three key and significant parts of women and children (1- Poverty Reduction, 2- Employment, 3- Legislation, 4- Education 5- Awareness Raising and Pioneer are fully focused on youth and empowering their skills, abilities, and capacity.

Job Description

The applicants are required to work under the program pillar and she is required to have outstanding experience in running projects, monitoring the project as per the project cycle, and good skills in problem-solving, Report writing, coordination, and communication. PSEA and CFM  focal point is responsible to play a crucial role in institutionalizing a commitment to preventing sexual exploitation and abuse, responding effectively when incidents occur, and promoting a safe and respectful environment for all individuals involved in or affected by the organization's activities.The applicants are required to work under the program pillar and she is required to have outstanding experience in running projects, monitoring the project as per the project cycle, and good skills in problem-solving, Report writing, coordination, and communication. Other Skills:

  • Fluent in Dari, Pashto, and English written and spoken
  • To be familiar with program activities and other terms.
  • Technical and practical competence in humanitarian response projects, and feedback issues in emergency response programs.
  • Experience in managing tough contexts and project-driven organizations.
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team;
  • Be adapted to a hard-working environment;
  • Being an Afghan citizen

Job Requirement

· Policy Implementation: Implementing and ensuring adherence to PSEA policies and procedures within the organization. This involves promoting a culture of zero tolerance towards sexual exploitation and abuse.

· Training and Capacity Building: Organizing and conducting training sessions for staff, partners, and stakeholders on PSEA principles, standards, and best practices. This helps to raise awareness and build capacity to prevent and respond to incidents of sexual exploitation and abuse.

· Monitoring and Reporting: Establishing mechanisms for monitoring compliance with PSEA policies and procedures. This includes reviewing reports of incidents, conducting investigations where necessary, and ensuring timely reporting to relevant authorities.

· Support and Referral: Providing support to victims/survivors of sexual exploitation and abuse, including facilitating access to appropriate services such as medical care, psychosocial support, and legal assistance. They also ensure that referral pathways are clear and effective.

· Coordination: Working closely with other departments or agencies involved in humanitarian or development work to coordinate PSEA efforts. This may involve participating in coordination meetings, sharing information, and collaborating on prevention and response activities.

· Advocacy and Communication: Advocating for PSEA principles and raising awareness among all stakeholders, including affected communities, about their rights and available protections. This involves effective communication strategies tailored to different audiences.

· Documentation and Analysis: Keeping accurate records of PSEA activities, incidents, and responses. Analyzing trends and lessons learned to continuously improve policies and practices.

· Policy Development: Contributing to the development and updating of PSEA policies, ensuring they reflect international standards and best practices.

· External Engagement: Representing the organization in external forums and networks related to PSEA, sharing experiences and learning from others in the field.

· Evaluation and Accountability: Participating in evaluations and assessments related to PSEA, both internal and external, to ensure accountability and identify areas for improvement.
