Job Description
The Afghanistan Journalists Support Organization (AJSO) is seeking a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Specialist to support our programs remotely. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with experience in designing and implementing M&E frameworks, preferably in the field of media development or human rights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement M&E frameworks, tools, and systems to monitor project progress and impact.
- Collect, analyze, and report on data to measure project outcomes and effectiveness.
- Conduct regular evaluations and assessments to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
- Provide technical assistance and capacity building to project staff on M&E methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with donor requirements and reporting deadlines.
Job Requirement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in media development, human rights, WB or related fields.
- Strong analytical and data management skills.
- Proficiency in M&E software and tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
