Job Description
The purpose of this position is to work for the establishment, implementation and supervision of an effectively functioning monitoring system, including annual and monthly monitoring and evaluation plans, to ensure timely and quality implementation of Goldozi project activities.
- Supervise, Monitor and support the grant implementation, GCP training classes and project activities.
- Undertake regular monitoring visits field and develop monitoring reports and recommendations for post-monitoring follow up, ensure timely adjustments as per the monitoring findings;
- Advise, and if necessary train, the field staff of WOD in the monitoring framework, ensuring responsive monitoring process;
- Ensure collection necessary data for effective documentation of the process of ‘Modeling of Community approach, including key principles and standard methodological approaches for community mobilization, lessons learned and findings for replication within project coverage area.
- Contribute to the development of program progress and annual reports
- Conduct regular monitoring, including filing system, up to date reports, photo gallery, success stories etc.
- Coordinate and assist with Goldozi field staff in all M&E activities.
- Participate in all data verification activities for the Goldozi project.
- Organize planning of on-the-field verification in coordination with the field staff.
- Assist in designing, development, coordination and implementation of M&E surveys and field visits.
- Conduct monitoring site visits and provide feedback and reports to Program Manager.
- Other duties as directed
Job Requirement
- Bachelor degree in social sciences, economics, and or business management
- At least 3 years’ experience in the relevant field
- Report writing and training skills
- Ability to travel within project coverage area in Kandahar province.
- Fluency in verbal and written Pashto and Dari
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
