Background Helping Hand for Relief and Development (HHRD) is a global humanitarian relief and development organization responding to human sufferings in emergency and disaster situations anywhere all over the world regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, religion, color, cultural diversity and social background. HHRD Afghanistan got registered as an international INGO in February 2014 with the number of (402) with the ministry of economy in the Islamic republic of Afghanistan to serve Afghan destitute families all over Afghanistan, HHRD needs two tailoring trainers for the vocational training centers of Laghman and Kunar provinces, each trainer will receive 12500 AFN monthly salary.
Job Description
1- At least baccalaureate
2- Should be Tailor
3- Able to read and write in Pashto and Dari
4- 5 years’ experience of working in the same field
5- Excellent Technical skills
6- Excellent training Knowledge.
Good communication skills
Job Requirement
Duties & Responsibiliites:
· Teach the trainees all the curriculum of sewing Afghani local famous cloths in 5 months
· Teach usage of basic patterns for sewing clothing items, means for new cloth and mending damaged clothing and other alterations.
· Instruct Basic machine use, and basic machine maintenance.
· Develop and agree lesson plans for the smooth running of tailoring training with supervisor.
· Conduct needs assessment for tailoring training.
· Train the trainees with making local traditional cloths
· Provide success stories of the trainees and share with the management
· Provide support and advice time to time to tailoring students.
· Implement of impacted and benefited teaching method.
· Try creation of friendly environment with beneficiaries.
· Keep attendance and registers records
· Share of existed problem with line Supervisor.
Perform any other task assigned by line supervisor.
