Job Description
Under the management of Herat HR supervisor, the cleaner/cook is primarily responsible to keep the ATLAS warehouse clean and in order, to facilitate the activities. On a secondary level, he/she should be able to prepare lunch for the ATLAS team, following high standard of hygiene.
Responsible to Clean the ATLAS Warehouse:
- To clean all areas, bathrooms, yard and any other fixtures;
- To clean the doors and windows of the staff office;
- To clean the tables/chairs;
- To clean the computers, taking care not to damage anything;
- Keep in order the internal and external area of the Warehouse
- To empty the trashes every day
- Assisting the guards to keep the warehouse area free from rubbish, clean and tidy,
- To provide warehouse with clean drinking water.
- To prepare refreshment for the project’s staff;
- Responsible to prepare nutritious and hygienic lunch for the staff upon request:
- To purchase of the fresh food for daily cooking
- To prepare meal for lunch for the staff members.
- To serve meal and tea for the team
- To preserve left over foods and cooking material
- To ensure hygienic rules are applied in the daily activities
- To wash the dishes and tea cups of the staff office in the morning
- To cook for the office guests coming to the warehouse if they asked for.

- Primary School Degree (Secondary or High School degree preferred)
- Previous experience in cleaning in warehouses or similar;
- General experience in preparing food;

- Able to Read and Write Dari Language
