Job Description

As the director of the Western Region of Global Partners Afghanistan this person will oversee the office and projects in the western region.  They will be responsible for project administration, including human resources, office management and finance management.

Job Requirement

  • Lead the Regional work and oversee the regional office
  • Responsible for project administration, monitoring and evaluation of ongoing project progress
  • Provide oversight for all aspects of administration, including human resources, office management and finance management
  • Supervise project managers
  • Periodically make project site visits
  • Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly and final reports in a timely manner
  • Report any situations that could negatively impact the timely completion of projects
  • Responsible for office budget and expenditure
  • Provide oversight for all aspects of logistics and communications within the region
  • Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal and cross-cultural skills including the ability to build collaborative relationships with sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, social and political issues
  • Demonstration of knowledge of program design; grant acquisition and management; and resource stewardship
  • Demonstrate a high proficiency in English
