Job Description
- Data Collection: Conduct qualitative data collection in the field, including conducting interviews, focus group discussions, observations, and other data collection methods, according to established protocols and procedures.
- Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data quality and accuracy by implementing quality control measures, such as audio recording and transcription, note-taking, and verifying information with participants, and addressing any data quality issues that arise during data collection.
- Data Management: Manage qualitative data collected during the study, including organizing, transcribing, and storing data in a secure and accessible manner.
- Team Management: Work collaboratively with other members of the data collection team, such as other enumerators, supervisors, and project managers, to ensure that data collection is conducted according to the project plan.
- Communication: Communicate with study participants, project staff, and other stakeholders in a clear and professional manner, while maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity.
- Problem-solving: Identify and solve problems that arise during data collection, such as challenges with study participants or data collection tools, and work with the project team to resolve any issues that arise.
- Reporting: Provide regular progress updates to project managers and supervisors, and contribute to data analysis and reporting efforts as needed.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with ethical and legal requirements related to data collection, including obtaining informed consent from study participants, protecting participant privacy and confidentiality, and following data security protocols.
- Training: Attend and participate in training sessions related to data collection, data management, and study protocols, and demonstrate proficiency in these areas.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all data collection activities, including time spent on tasks, problems encountered, and solutions implemented.
Job Requirement
Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as economics, psychology, sociology, anthropology, and other related fields.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in conducting relevant research studies.
Project management skills: Strong project management skills to plan, organize, and manage research projects from start to finish, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
Leadership skills: Strong leadership skills to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, manage conflicts, and ensure project objectives are met.
Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders at all levels.
Analytical skills: Strong analytical skills to review project data and make informed decisions based on the results.
Client management skills: Ability to manage client relationships, provide updates on project progress, and ensure client satisfaction.
