Job Description
Brief summary:
Data Collector is supposed to collect primary data using the interviews or survey questionnaires. Data collectors will work under direct supervision of the Team Leader.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Visit the field for collection of data
- Conduct interviews (HH survey, FGD or KII)
- Respect interview principles and avoid biasness
- Enter the information in data base / ODK / Kobo
- Actively participate in classroom and online trainings
- Keep all the records confidential
- Coordinate with community elders
- Coordinate with other organizations and the governmental authorities if needed
- Work closely with other staff members to build a professional team
- Other tasks that will be shared by Team Leader
Job Requirement
- University degree in related field
- At least 1 year experience of the relevant work
- Must be familiar with Kobo or ODK mobile applications
- Must be familiar with computer (Ms. Word and Ms. Excel) programs and internet usage
- Ability to read and write Pashto/Dari and English
- Ability to work long hours, often under pressure
- Able to travel to districts and villages when required
- Good interview skills
- Good communication skills
