Content Specialist Job Announcement
We are looking for candidates who possess the ability to think both creatively and analytically. Content Specialist duties include producing and publishing content, writing, editing and proofreading, formulating content strategies and translating/transcribing, among other tasks.
Content Specialist Job Description:
- Writing scripts, editing and proofreading content in Dari or Pashto.
- Gathering different types and categories of contents—texts, audio, video and etc. for diverse subjects.
- Translation and transcription from Dari/Pashto to English and vice versa, Dari to Pashto and vice versa.
- Managing content team consisting of writers, graphic designers, videographers and etc.
- Managing editorial calendar for updating contents.
- Refreshing existing contents.
- Formulating a cross-platform content gathering plan and scouting for relevant sources.
- Brainstorm with team members to develop new ideas.
- Track analytics to ascertain content engagement levels.
- Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirement
Content Specialist Job Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, literature or related field.
- 1-2-years agency experience or in a similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Dari and Pashto.
- Highly computer literate and advanced knowledge of proofreading in three languages.
- Experience with social media management and content gathering.
- Good skill in internet browsing.
- Creativity and the ability to develop original content.
- Ability to develop content that provokes engagement.
- Strong attention to details.
