Grants attained from inside or outside Afghanistan’s and communities, will only be served for the purpose of Education, Health Services, Clean Water, Emergency Distribution and other Welfare activities.

Job Description

Al-Mouwasat Welfare Organization is presently looking for energetic, hardworking and experienced Project Manager, as part of the Al-Mouwasat team building process. We encourage all professionals to submit job applications and CV before the deadline indicated.

  • Project Planning and Implementation
  • Manage and coordinate the overall project activities
  • Develop necessary tools for monitoring and evaluation of the project activities and ensure monitoring and evaluation systems reporting and quality controls are in place.
  • Develop work plans monitor progress of the project and prepare all types of required reports.
  • Tracking the project progress and to ensure the activities are being implemented according to the work plan and objectives.
  • Administer Al-Mouwasat administrative and management policies, procedures, guidelines etc.
  • Coordinate day-to-day operations related to the Al-Mouwasat’s office, Media, technology, and welfare activities; documents efforts through Websites MISs/ERPs systems, update NGO reporting and registries in MoC, update projects and submit proposals in ACBAR, UN and other organizations-tracking databases
  • Ensure timely preparation of work plans, budget forecast, and activity plans
  • Prepare project-related reports promptly to the Program Manager and donor
  • Ensure that the project is adequately staffed and the staff are appropriately assigned with clear job descriptions and lines of authority and responsibilities
  • Standardize and update the job description of all project staff as per donor policy and ensure that they are updated regularly to best meet project implementation requirements
  • To ensure relevant government departments and donor agency are updated on project activities and its involvement confirmed in project activities
  • Arranging and managing logistics administration and transportation aspect/needs of project and project staff with the logistics department
  • Events planning and management, including lunch of project and its capacity building coaching sessions, special events, training and seminars etc.
  • Liaising with media, ministries and other partners in outreach and public relations to cover Al-Mouwasat events and campaigns
  • Perform other duties as required and requested by Board of Directors

Job Requirement

The Project Manager will be responsible for overall project management of Al-Mouwasat projects in Afghanistan (Emergency Ambulance Services, Thalassemia, Education, Food Packages distribution, Water well and water pumps and Emergency relief). The Project Manager plans and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way.
