Job Description

This assignment aims to enhance the practical knowledge and skills of rural women in improved wool spinning, washing, sorting, grading, storing, and hygienic handling practices. 

Tasks (Performance Requirements): The Master Trainer (STTA) is mainly responsible to manage the classroom and practical training sessions organized for the rural women wool spinners:   
    Train rural women wool spinners in improved wool processing/yarn production.
    Train the participants in wool cleaning, washing, sorting, grading, and storing in a proper place.
    Practical training for women wool spinners by using a wooden machine for wool spinning.
    Explain the hygienic aspects of wool spinning. 
    Performs other related activities as required and liaises with the concerned AVC-Livestock staff to determine training needs and schedule training.

Job Requirement

    Literate (School graduate preferred)
    At least 5 years of practical work experience in the field of the wool industry. Experience in conducting similar training with wooden wool spinning machine usage.  
    Demonstrated skills and knowledge in wool spinning, washing, sorting, grading, and storing.  
    Previous experience in conducting assessments and training is a plus. 
    Fluency in Pashto/Dari.
