Job Description
We are looking to employ a sales-driven and customer-oriented Sales Officer to oversee our sales team and determine the most effective solutions to increase company sales. The Sales Officer's responsibilities include recommending improvements to current sales strategies, informing potential and existing customers of company promotions, as well as preparing accurate sales and expense reports. You should also be able to continually identify new sales opportunities through customer referrals. The position holder will make influential and persuasive planning, pitches and approaches to attract and convince new customers. Furthermore, you will continually provide support to existing and new customers to enhance and strengthen relationships.
To be successful as a Sales Officer, you should be persuasive and knowledgeable of industry regulations. Ultimately, an outstanding Sales Officer should have a strong work ethic and demonstrate exceptional communication, negotiation, and customer service skills at all times.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct research to identify potential business opportunities and target market for products and services.
- Strong knowledge and experience in analysis of RFP, RFQ, EOI, TENDER NOTICES.
- Write proposals, concept notes and quotations for different clients` requirements and maintaining track record of Sales & Leads’ funnel.
- Conducting Door to Door Sales, selling through telephone and email and keep in touch with potential prospects through social media platforms for retention.
- Build and maintain positive work relationships with clients to create a rapport that facilitates patronage and generates revenue.
- Enhance staff performance by providing guidance and solutions to improve sales efficiency.
- Set and enforce company standards policies for operations and quality of service.
- Develop and implement strategies effective for the extensive sales and awareness about company products.
- Monitor the industry and competitors to identify changes in market trends and adjust accordingly.
- Meeting sales objectives by hitting sales Target
- Communicate with clients to identify their product/service requirements and facilitate supply.
- Employ knowledge of products and services in providing appropriate response to client enquiries and also in assisting with the resolution of customer issues or complaints
- Apply understanding of market trends/business practices in taking decisions necessary for enhancing the sales process
- Collect, analyze, and interpret sales records to obtain information useful in preparing reports
- Organize periodic meetings with clients (Post Sales Activities for Customer Retention).
- Ensure compliance with customer service standards, Speed of Service Delivery and proper customer relationship management.
- Participate in educational workshops, conferences and expos to expand personal network and improve on existing job knowledge.
- Keep records of Sales data and update the pipeline on regular basis
- Any other tasks which might be assigned.
