About ADWSO: Afghanistan Development and Welfare Services Organization (ADWSO), an Afghan Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) operates in Afghanistan since December 2008. ADWSO’s priority sector areas are Child Protection, Capacity Building, Rule of Law and Women Empowerment.
Job Description
- Develop M&E Plan for the project, including indicator selection, target setting, reporting, database management, and developing M&E and/ performance monitoring plans.
- Monitor and evaluate overall project progress on achievement of results in Takhar, Jowzjan, Saripul, Faryab, Balkh, Samangan, Baghlan, Kunduz and Badakhshan.
- Regular preparation of Monitoring and Evaluation reports, required documents, photos, success stories for ADWSO activities and handover to Mazar HQ office.
- Design and lead program evaluations, monitoring systems, field assessments and research, including recruiting, selection, management and oversight of field staff, individuals and groups that implement various components of the field work.
- Serve as a resource to ADWSO staff on best practices in the monitoring and evaluation field.
- Development and enhancement of monitoring and evaluation systems to ensure their maximum effectiveness and efficiency.
- Prepare reports on the findings and lessons learned from project innovations.
Job Requirement
- Experience of performing monitoring and evaluation in relevant project.
- A bachelor degree in social sciences or related field. Degree in Social Work is an added advantage
- Sufficient working experience in institutions or NGOs at least 2 years.
- Communication skill in planning, reporting and working relations.
- Fluency in speaking, reading and writing in national languages.
- Fluency in speaking, reading and writing in English language.
- Computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint).
- Ability to travel by car or common carrier for out of province and rural travel.
