About Sanayee Development Organization (SDO): Sanayee Development Organization (SDO) is a registered Afghan development non-governmental and non-profit organization. Job Description
Duties and Responsiblities:
- Lead the Seasonal Support Unconditional Program (SSUP) project field team as a part of SDO’s overall development and Humanitarian response program.
- Develop a project program plan, ensure its smooth implementation, and manage the team’s performance of project tasks and activities that may include, but are not limited to:
- Participate at cluster and other meetings.
- Regularly coordinate project activities with central office line departments.
- Implement the Seasonal Support Unconditional Program (SSUP) project activities and ensure safe delivery of the activities as per the project implementation plan.
- He /She is to select beneficiaries, carry out coordination with authorities such as municipality, local security official for safe delivery of the activities and local officials such as head of districts.
- Creation and training of management structures.
- He / she is responsible to make sure project activities are conducted on time and provide regular reports to the main office of SDO.
- Carrying out of assessments and post-implementation monitoring.
- The project manager is also responsible for the management of the all staff involved in the project
- Manage the project team human resources and provide technical support, training and capacity building.
- Assign daily task to SCOPE Team, Crowed management, facilitators, supervisors and M&E Teams.
- Prepare reports as assigned reporting schedule (weekly, monthly and final reports)
Job Requirement
- University degree in BBA, Social Science, or any other related field preferably with specialization in humanitarian response programs and SSUP/CBT or similar relevant qualification.
- Five years of experience in similar projects with preferably two years in NGO’s sector
- Technical and practical competence in Seasonal Support Unconditional (SSUP) including experience in FSAC, CBT, CBI projects, Assessments, Beneficiary Selection, emergency response programs, Vulnerability Certifies and related activities.
- Experience in managing multi-Sectoral programs in developing wellbeing and HHs resilience.
- Proven experience in program development, monitoring and reporting
- Excellent written and oral English language skills
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Previous coordination/management experience
- Previous experience with WFP, FSAC clusters, relevant UN agencies.
- Structured, well organized and self-driven
- Excellent communication, cooperation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build other people’s capacity
- Culture and conflict sensitive
