YHDO works with interdisciplinary professionals to develop and implement innovative, culturally appropriate, evidence based interventions.
Job Description
Job Purpose:
Youth Health and Development Organization (YHDO) is implementing child protection initiatives to fighting Bacha Bazi in Afghanistan and ending impunity in the country. YHDO aims to create a grassroots movement to inspire change – where communities support, not stigmatize, survivors and push for perpetrators to be held accountable for this crime.
YHDO is seeking to recruit a provincial coordinators for the project. The provincial coordinator under the direction of the YHDO’s project manager will be responsible for leading the project provincial activities to satisfy the project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organizing coordination meetings with stakeholders in respective province
- Develop community awareness events plan on children rights and victim support services
- Organizing and conducting community awareness events
- Develop advocacy network with stakeholders to support children survivors of violence
- Support and guide procurement, admin, and finance activities are according to organization policies
- Develop work plans and monitor progress and present monthly progress report to supervisor.
- Ensure effective documentation of program and progress by capturing lessons learnt and good practices.
- Represent the organization in relevant meetings and national forums
- Adhere to the organization code of conduct in professional and personal life and report breaches of the code to the appropriate persons

Job Requirement
- University degree in Project Management, Law or other relevant fields
- Minimum of three to five years’ experience of working with NGOs
- Experience of working on human rights and child rights projects
- Strong report writing and presentation skills
- Project Management capabilities
- Excellent oral and writing skills in English language
