Job Description
The Project Officer is the in charge of all school feeding project activities at district level and responsible to implement and monitor the project activities in the operational villages
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily monitoring of bakeries and schools
- Bread+ preparation and ingredients
- Breads are fresh not left overs of the day before
- Transportation service provider has assigned the required number of man power for loading and unloading
- Adequate loading methods, Foods are lifted and not dragged
- On time delivery to schools
- Receiving and delivering the exact number of required breads
- Hygiene and cleanness of the transportation mediums
- Breads should not be transported together with non-food materials
- Transportation mediums are labelled with “School Feeding Programme, WFP’s logo, KRO’s logo and name of the relevant district”
- Baskets are washed and cleaned up every day with hot water before packing breads
- Baskets are sanitized once a week against COVID-19 risks, and will be left under the sun for 7 hours, and will be washed with hot water so no chemicals of the liquid is left
- Baking facility will be sanitized using spray bottles everyday against COVID-19 risks.
- Are the food items are being distributed without any discrimination and difference between students?
- Are the defined food safety and quality guidelines by Food Technologist are being followed at school level?
- Are the children the only receiver of the bread+?
- Number of absent students
Other:
- Participate in training workshops meetings project events held in any provinces.
- Visit project sites and monitor all activities
- Respect and adore all policies of KRO including but not limited to; code of conduct, PSEA, Child Protection and Anti-Fraud and Conflict of Interest Policies
- Maintain 100% transparency and accountability

Education
- University degree in field of administration and economic
Skill:
- Understanding and sensitivity to cross cultural issues
- University degree in administration or management.

- Able to identify issues and willingness to solve with the help of the people.
- Ability to use Computer (Microsoft office).
- Strong leadership, management and organizational skills.
- Understanding of community-based nonprofit programs.
- Ability to integrate and harmonize diversified functions of different staffs.
- Understanding, influencing and serving others are important attributes in this position.
- Full knowledge of survey techniques, equipment’s standards, standard construction procedures, lay outs techniques and drawing designs and structures.
- Ability to conduct technical feasibility studies for construction works.
- Ability to assume responsibility, interface and communicate with others.
- Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to represent KRO and project team in a professional manner to other stakeholders and the community.
Work Experience:
At least 2 years’ experience in related field is required.
