About ACHRO: Afghan Community and Health Rehabilitation Organization (ACHRO) is non-political, non for profit, non- governmental organization registered on April, 08, 2010 under registration # 1658 with the Ministry of Economy of GIRoA. ACHRO has also been registered or recognized as partner with more than 40 national and International organizations. ACHRO is directly and indirectly working with five line ministries with the government of Afghanistan including Ministry of education. ACHRO is currently implementing UNHCR project titled “Community-based Programme for Protection and Solution” (CO-PROSPER) in Central, South and Southern -east regions.
Job Description
The role of the skills trainer to provide one to one support to young people/trainees to learn, promote and practice technical skills as advised by the Project Coordinator. Specific duties and responsibilities include:
- Develop training materials for training for community members.
- Conduct training sessions for beneficiaries in target communities.
- Evaluate the knowledge and skills of community members who received training to make sure that the training approach is in accurate manner.
- Participate in procurement phases to make sure that the procured hens are in good health.
- Vaccinate livestock and check vital signs of hens to make sure, there is no life threatening diseases amongst livestock.
- Provide necessary medication for ill hens and applying the medication urgently within program life period.
- Evaluates training by evaluating effectiveness of training to specific job applications.
- Maintains safe and healthy training environment by following organization standards and legal regulations.
- Implement teaching plan in accordance with the approved curriculum.
- Conduct practical work and site visit to ensure the utilization of the skilled and knowledge gained through training.
- Conduct regular assessment on the progress of the trainees.
- Ensure the confidentiality of the filing/documents.
- Identify trainees’ strengths and individual interests.
- Enable and support the trainees to participate in recreational and group activities.
Job Requirement
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor degree in livestock and agriculture
- 3 years experience of working in the same field
- Excellent Technical skills
- Excellent training Knowledge.
- Good communication and judgment skills
