Job Description
- Ensure that Project is planned, implemented, and managed with technical, logistical and administrative support.
- Provide technical support to provincial team in the development and implementation of project activities
- Accountable for oversight of monitoring, budget utilization, preparing weekly, monthly, milestone, and final reports.
- Assist Program Manager in responding to the enquiries of a technical nature from field staff, government, donor and other stakeholders.
- Ensure enquiries from donors are responded to promptly and that good quality project reports are prepared and submitted on time.
- Organize and facilitate meetings and workshops with relevant staff to guide Project direction and enhance Project performance.
- Undertake regular visits to field and project sites to support implementation, validate monitoring reports and assess capacity needs of field staff.
- Effective project delivery with impact in line according to agreed objectives
- Actively encourage and facilitate the documentation of good practice and lessons learned.
- Ensure that data collection and analyses is shared with Project staff and include a focus on gender issues.
- Engage with government to appraise about HRRAC work and to feed it into government planning processes: Represent HRRAC in Government meetings at the provincial, District and village level to appraise them of HRRAC’s work to garner support in smooth implementation of projects
- Attend stakeholder meetings for effective project implementation.
- Ensure compliance with donor and government requirements at the provincial, district and village level for effective implementation.
- Any other task assigned by Program Manager.
Job Requirement
- University degree or equivalent in social sciences. Specific training in a field relevant to project management will be an asset.
- At least three to four years of experience in a similar position is required.
- Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (Ms. Excel, Word, Outlook, etc) and advance knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages, experience in handling web-based management system
- Fluency in oral and written English, Dari, and Pashto
