Job Description

Your role

The liaison officer will support strategic partnerships by providing top-quality advice, facilitating effective knowledge management, and providing technical assistance to project planning, coordination, monitoring and reporting in any collaboration.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Liaises between two organizations to communicate and coordinate their activities by serving as an official go-between for senior officials of both organizations:
  • serves as a channel between two different parties or organizations.
  •  Act as part of the public relation division of a organization who coordinates, responds, and resolves possible conflicts.
  • Communicate process for the implementation of program among officials and staff.
  • Act as a contact point for all agency or organizational personnel;
  • keep and maintain list of the governmental and non-governmental agencies or officials/individuals representing them;
  • Facilitate meetings and cooperation among people, agencies and organizations;
  • Identifying problems in communication among those groups;
  • Collaborate and communicate with necessary constituents and the public;
  • Contribute to creating a culture committed to the safeguarding of children and adults and compliant to WCUK’s Child Safeguarding and Adults at Risk Policies.

These duties provide a framework for the role and should not be regarded as a definitive list. Other reasonable duties may be required consistent with the grade of the role.

Job Requirement

  • Associate's degree required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a related role. Customer-oriented attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Liaison officers must be self-motivated and strong leaders capable of promptly and effectively monitoring, coordinating and communicating strategic objectives
  • patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
  • excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Inter personal communication skill (verbal, listening, written, and non-verbal communication)
