About Sultan Taza Food Production: Sultan Taza Food Production was established in 2017 under the Kefayat group of companies, a private corporation in Mazar e Sharif. The company owner and his business partner are new to the business, however, they have eight years of experience in animal husbandry mainly cows and apiculture. Having had experience in animal husbandry, the owners took another step of investing over one million USD in dairy production, establishing the Sultan Taza Food Production in 2017. Since then, the company has had ups and downs in its business continuity but as said, the company is young and still needs to improve in various fields. In this short period of time, Sultan Taza has been able to be one of the leading companies in the country with a wide range of products from milk, yogurt, dogh, Chaka, and cheese

Job Description

  • Responsible for maintaining good management.
  • Responsible for the achievement of sales, marketing, communications, distribution, and public relations mission, goals, and financial objectives. Ensure that evaluation systems are in place related to these goals and objectives and report progress to management.
  • Develop short- and long-term plans for the sales, marketing, communications, distribution, and public relations program and its activities, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance,
  • Develop, implement and monitor systems and procedures necessary to the smooth operation of the sales, marketing, communications, public relations function.
  • Track and record all sales bills to the assigned system.
  • Have good coordination with the main office and update the main office from all issues.
  • Keep informed of developments in the fields of sales, marketing, communications, distribution and public relations, not-for-profit management, and governance, [and the specific business of the Organization and use this information to help the Organizations operates with initiative and innovation.
  • Develop and coordinate means to seek regular input from the Organization’s senior management regarding the quality of programs and services and the Organization’s relevance.
  • Ensure effective management within the sales, marketing, communications distribution, and public relations function, with provision for succession.
  • Maintaining and building contacts with customers;
  • Managing the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, and flyers - this can involve writing and proofreading copy and liaising with designers and printers;
  • Arranging the effective distribution of the products;
  • Maintaining and updating mailing databases;
  • Organizing and attending events and exhibitions;
  • Securing sponsorship to assist with the publicity and funding of marketing projects;
  • Carrying out market research and customer surveys to assess demand, brand positioning, and awareness;
  • Evaluating marketing campaigns;
  • Monitoring competitor activity;
  • Providing quotes and preparing contracts for different customers.
  • Analyzing pricing positions;
  • Contributing to and developing long-term marketing plans and strategies;
  • Assisting in the delivery of approved strategies;
  • Regular follow-ups with the main office and report the updates to the senior management of STFP.
  • Any other administrative tasks assigned by the general manager.

Job Requirement

• Having a bachelor degree (BBA is preferred)
• At least three years’ work experience.
• A good command of local languages. Both written and oral is necessary.
• Software such as Microsoft Word and Excel are preferable.
• Familiarity with the Afghanistan government administrative structure and a deep understanding of Afghan culture and traditions of local governance and leadership is required.

Note: The selected candidate will receive training for 2-3 months in the main office Mazar e Sharif.
