Job Description
The Proposal Writer will work directly with and under the direction of Director and Program Head and will be responsible for providing proposal writing and report writing support.
• Prepare project proposal in response to the RFPs, RFAs and Expression of Interests.
• Prepare both financial and technical proposals.
• Analyze and develop concept notes for Projects. Develop project document, reports and any other papers
• Search market regularly for potential opportunities.
• Search and contact with donors that are providing funds in the core areas of AidTrends
• Take initiatives for fundraisings.
• Conduct meeting with donors for fund raising.
• Develop required documents, processes, policies and procedures required for funding by donors.
• Liaising: Establishing relationship with donors; embassies, international community, NGOs and INGOs at national level in Afghanistan.
• Provide necessary information regarding programs, funding status, reporting time and proposal development.
• Leading & Organizing: To motivate staff to build positive attitudes regarding their responsibilities and the objectives of the team & promote Company Policies and Procedures among all projects personnel and to ensure that activities are carried out in accordance with them. And, establish projects and organizational structure in order to manage the work and resources effectively.
Advise program and project staff on issues relating to donor compliance
Job Requirement
• At least bachelor business administration/ social sciences, or equivalent, MA preferable and Fluency in English.
• four to six years of work experience within an international or local NGOs or other relevant organizations on proposal writing and organization capacity building.
• A minimum of 2 years of practical experience in similar positions.
• Ability to conceptualize, design and plan for projects and to prepare reports and proposals.
• Able to manage and plan the work effectively and meet deadlines.
• Ability to establish working relationships with the government and non- government organizations and effective outreach and networking
• Ability to build close working relationships and trust with program team.
• Ability to build strong lines of communication with stakeholders and within the team
