About Coordination of Humanitarian Assistance: Coordination of Humanitarian Assistance (CHA) is non-governmental, non-profitable, and non-political Afghan NGO, working since 1987 mainly in agriculture, health, education, and infrastructure sectors in more vulnerable areas of the country. CHA is working through the implementation of Emergency, rehabilitation, and development projects for the emergency aid for war, famine, and natural disaster-affected families in the field, to assist with the rehabilitation of rural and urban life, and to work with communities for sustainable development in Afghanistan. Job Description
- Coordination with the Program Manager, Donor, Government Authorities, provincial council on the Provincial level.
- Managing relevant activities of the project on the project level.
- Organizing meetings with donors, Government authorities, project stakeholders, community elders on a provincial level.
- Preparing assessment plan and food distribution plan implementation plan on a provincial level.
- Managing all the food distribution activities for the school.
- Supervision and monitoring of sub-projects to ensure project implementation according to the proposal in covered districts and villages.
- Site visits and regular monitoring from project activities to ensure the quality of work.
- Close cooperation with monitoring team under the direction of the Program manager, and provincial Manger.
- Preparing monthly and quarterly reports.
- Provide written weekly activities reports base on a project to the program manager and provincial manager and project manager.
- Obey CHA rules and regulations.
- Any other duties or tasks assigned by org.
Job Requirement
The successful applicant will need to address the following criteria:
- BA from Economy/BBA, Engineering, and another relevant field.
- At least three-year work experience in the related field.
- Ability in planning and reporting systems.
- Fluent in written and spoken English, Dari, Pashto.
- Ability to use a computer and have knowledge of MS office.
- Excellent interpersonal skills required
- Assumes responsibility and accountability for her practice
Considering the above qualifications, priority is given to those who have experience with CHA in the target provinces with a similar context to Kandahar province.
