We are looking for two Business Analysts in our Junior Professionals Program, to assist with the business development of AWAL development to clients in the government and public services sphere. The ideal candidates to join our team not only meet the basic requirements for the position, but are willing to learn, collaborate, and expand their areas of responsibility and expertise as the team needs. About the Position Awal is seeking Two Business Analysts who will fill a role in Awal Public Services team. Generally, this person will work on different opportunities with an assigned team, will conduct feasibility, research, find pricing, prepare draft proposals and implement projects. Job Description
Responsibilities of a Business Analyst (JP)
Sourcing new opportunities using platforms provided
Working with the team on prioritizing opportunities and taking lead in multiple opportunities at the same time
Provide management support and analyze/improve business processes.
Develop change management and organizational strategies.
Use quantitative methods and statistical models to create insights, patterns, and outcomes from data.
Working with suppliers globally to source items required by clients at great rates, following through on delivery times and operational/logistical fulfillment.
Available to support business teams as required in administrative, operations, functional and support areas.
What We’re Looking For
Familiarity with core consulting skills – business processes, organizational strategies, project management and an interest in technology.
Ability to adjust quickly and confidently when faced with change, engage and enables team members to reach a common goal, seek out answers, drive solutions and get results, and follow through on what you say you’ll do, while also knowing when to ask for help.
Manage the end-to-end bid process.
Job Requirement
Qualification of the JPs (Regardless of the business area):
- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication in English and local languages.
- The JP is trustworthy, wants to make a difference and is interested in making a change.
- The JP understand design-thinking and has a keen eye and interest for innovation.
- The JP is a fast learner, highly creative, driven individual who can work on their own.
- Can thrive in a fast-paced extensive environment.
