Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team. This role is critical in driving the growth of the company by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and supporting the overall sales strategy. The BDM will focus on expanding market presence, managing client portfolios, and delivering a high level of customer satisfaction.
Duties & Responsibilities
Identify New Business Opportunities:
- Research and identify potential clients and markets to drive growth.
- Generate leads through networking, prospecting, cold calling, and leveraging industry events.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline of prospects.
Develop Relationships:
- Cultivate long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Develop a deep understanding of client needs and industry trends.
- Conduct meetings and presentations with prospective clients to understand their challenges and propose solutions.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement sales strategies.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Market Research & Competitor Analysis:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
- Conduct competitor analysis to position the company's offerings effectively.
Customer Feedback & Retention:
- Gather feedback from clients to continuously improve service offerings.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status in the CRM system.
- Provide regular updates to senior management regarding progress toward sales targets and any challenges.
Collaboration & Teamwork:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and operations, to ensure smooth execution of contracts and client onboarding.
- Assist in the development of marketing materials and campaigns to support business development efforts.
Job Requirement
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Experience:
Proven experience (typically 5-10 years) in business development or sales roles.
Skills:
- Fluent at English and local lingual.
- Logical reasoning.
- Well issue solving skill.
- Problem analyze skill.
- A team player who demonstrates patience, flexibility and honesty.
- Be willing and able to meet tight deadlines and work long hours when required.
- Knowledge of telecommunication products & Services.
- Familiarity with digital marketing and lead generation tools
Qualification and Requirements:
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand client needs and industry trends.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite (Salesforce knowledge is a plus).
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events (if applicable).
