Job Description
ROLE PURPOSE
The Project Senior Officer with support from FSL Program Coodinator will implement the livelihood activities planned under Save the Children’s SC - Italy Funded Project. The post holder along with livelihood assistants will closely work with project beneficiaries to provide beneficiaries with capacity building and livelihood assistance.
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY: The main areas of accountability and responsibility of this post is to implement the livelihood component of Save the Children’s SC - Italy Funded Project in designated province (Jawzjan). Details are below.
Support project team on daily project implementation and regular follow up with provincial team to manage implementation in line with work plan and project scope.
Assist with provincial team to plan and conduct project kick off meeting at provincial level.
Support local team to develop a comprehensive cash distribution plan and get sign off of program lead.
Explain project proposal, log-frame, and implementation modality to provincial staff
Review and confirm area mapping process, mobilization, selection, and verification procedure presenting by local staff.
Coordination CTP activities internally with SCI supply chain, finance, and MEAL departments.
Support Program Lead to review and approve final list of beneficiaries
Report project progress, challenges, and main barriers in front of implementation to Program Lead
Coordination and collaboration with financial service provider on cash disbursement and cash out plan.
Any other tasks assigned by line manager

University degree in any field of social sciences or other relevant technical credential
