About Afghan Post SOC: Postal services in Afghanistan have a history of more than a century. These services were first laid in 1870 for the first time during the reign of Amir Shir Ali Khan, which witnessed significant ups and downs due to changes in the political, social and cultural spheres. In 1928, Afghanistan became a member of the World Postal Union and in 1968, a member of the Asia-Pacific Postal Union, in order to expand its postal relations and strengthen ties with the rest of the world. Job Description
The incumbent of this position will work under the direct supervision of the CEO and will report to him. He/she will perform the following duties but not limited to:
Administrative Officer Will Contribute to the development, implementation and monitoring of frameworks, policies and procedures across the full range of administrative functions and services;
Full compliance of administrative activities with government regulations, policies and strategies.
Assist in purchase of all basic office supplies, stationery etc, maintain stock, inventory record keeping and updating them on timely basis for all assets.
Organizing and managing schedules and calendars for staff, managers, and senior-level officers
Receiving and processing communication channels, including email, phone, and physical mail
Ensure functionality of necessary office equipment, and requisitioning new equipment and supplies as needed
Creating reports and memos for managers and senior-level officers as needed
Attend meetings and record notes and messages for managers and senior-level officers
Maintain and update company databases
Organize a filing system for important and confidential company documents
Answer queries by employees and clients
Maintain a company calendar and schedule appointments
Distribute and store correspondence (e.g. letters, emails and packages)
Prepare reports and presentations with statistical data, as assigned
Arrange travel and accommodations book meeting rooms as required
Answering telephone calls, responding to queries, and replying to emails.
Preparing expense reports and office budgets.
Systematically filing important company documents.
Forwarding all correspondence, such as letters and packages, to staff members.
Scheduling meetings and booking conference rooms.
Any other task assigned by the line by the manager.
Job Requirement
Education:
Master’s or bachelor’s degree in HRM, BA or Public Administration, law, Literature, Social science or any other related field.
Experience:
with master degree minimum 2 and bachelor minimum 4 years of experience is required.
Ability to learn quickly, strong self-training readiness.
Must be self-starter with excellent demonstrated teamwork skills.
Strong written and oral communication skills in English;
Ability to coordinate a team and different stakeholders in a complex work environment.
Language Requirements:
Fluency in English, and proficiency in Pashto and Dari.
