The cook/cleaner of Guest House is responsible for preparing meals for Tdh expatriates, visitor and guests on daily basis as requested by expats in line with hygiene values. He/she is incumbent for cleaning

of all guest house rooms, kitchen, corridor, bathrooms, windows and as well maintaining of Cleanliness of curtains, bedspread, coverlets, towels clean bathrooms including toilets, sink, shower and maintaining its daily cleaning. 

He/she will be replace of office Cook/Cleaner while he/she is on leave or not present.  

Cooking Tasks:

• Prepare different Afghani food according to the menu for all tdh staff.
• To keep the common kitchen clean and tidy
• Prepare regular tea and make sure the thermoses are full of hot water with clean glass 
• Make sure that all the kitchen tools are clean and in a proper place.
• Keeping kitchen clean every day
• Maintain a proper temperature for food in the Kitchen.
• Wash the dishes, clean the cooker, and any other kitchen equipment
• Make sure clean dishes are available at all time
• Responsible for all kitchen stuff for being spoiled and disappearing
• To remain responsible for all Kitchen material/equipment of tdh
• Ventilate the kitchen and Sweep and mop the floors and make sure the hygiene agent is fully followed
• Empty the waste bins on daily basis and wash them if necessary
• Go Grocery shopping on daily basis and make sure to bring back the receipts for all purchases items and stuff.
• Work for additional hours whenever required.
• Perform any other task assigned by the immediate supervisor or line manager

Cleaning Tasks:

• washing expats cloths, bedspread, coverlets, towels…etc.
• Drying of all washed cloths, bedspread, coverlets and towels in a good manner. 
• Ironing of all expats washed cloths and as well as form other new guests and visitors properly.
• Ventilate the offices
• Dust the surfaces of all furniture and computers
• Mop the floor of the offices and kitchen
• Empty the waste bins from the offices and kitchen
• Wash the dishes, clean the cooker, and any other kitchen equipment
• Clean the all toilets, shower and sink with detergent
• Check that the toilets are well stocked with toilet paper
• Clean all the tables, chairs, windows and desks
• Clean inside the kitchen cupboards and fridge
• Make sure that clean glasses are available at all time
• Wash and change the towel every 2 days and hang it in every bathrooms
• Clean all the office’s rooms and corridor
• Wash the curtains, towels…… etc and make sure the bathroom towels are changed regularly
• Sweep or vacuum the offices every day or every other day, based on condition or cleanness
• Make sure that all the office and items are in its proper place.
• To perform any other related task assigned by the supervisor
