Job Description
The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the company’s technology operations and ensuring that IT systems support the organization’s goals. This role involves planning, coordinating, and directing IT-related activities while ensuring systems are efficient, secure, and scalable.
Strategic Planning & Leadership
- Develop and implement the Moraa Educational Complex. IT strategy in alignment with business objectives.
- Manage IT budgets, resources, and staff.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team.Stay updated on industry trends to recommend new technologies.
- Infrastructure & Systems Management
- Oversee the maintenance and optimization of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and cloud systems.
- Ensure the availability, performance, and security of IT systems.
- Manage the installation and configuration of IT systems.
- Security & Compliance
- Develop and enforce IT security policies and procedures.Conduct risk assessments and implement solutions to minimize vulnerabilities.Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to negotiate contracts and manage relationships.Act as the primary liaison between IT and other departments to address business needs.Communicate IT strategies and progress to stakeholders.
- Project Management
- Plan, execute, and deliver IT projects on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for system integration and upgrades.
- Monitor project progress and report on key milestones.
- Troubleshooting & Support
- Ensure timely resolution of IT issues.Manage help desk operations and support requests.Provide guidance on technology usage and best practices.
Job Requirement
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).3years of experience in IT management or a similar role
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in IT systems, infrastructure, and security protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of ITIL and project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
