Job Description

Assists the Youth Coordinator in implementing the youth program activities in the community.

· Prepares the weekly and monthly plans and shares with the Youth Coordinator/Field Coordinator/Project Coordinator.

· Monitors and evaluates youth activities (related to voluntary work) in coordination with youth coordinator & Field Coordinator.

· Provides support to the volunteers at various levels in coordination with the Field Coordinator and Youth Coordinator.

· Implements the plan presented by the Youth Coordinator, in coordinator with the Youth Coordinator/Field Coordinator.

· Assists the youth with preparing lesson plan and preparing modules.

· Evaluates the Lesson Plans of the EOTS volunteers and shares it with the Youth Coordinator.

· Monitors the EOTS activities through visits to the houses of the volunteers.

· Prepares report of the EOTS activities and submits it to the youth coordinator.

· Maintains the necessary documentation of the trainings conducted for other facilitators in the prescribed format.

· Maintains the records of the trainings conducted for the youth by the other facilitators.

· Conducts assessments of the services provided through surveys of the people served.

· Periodically, participates/organizes in the parent’s meeting of the youth as well as the children at ECD/EOTS program.

· Organizes training for the facilitators based on their engagement with the youth.

· Prepares necessary modules required for ECD and supports the volunteers to implement the modules in their daily engagement in the classes at their home.

· Follows the JRS ethos of work and engagement with community. Promoting positive culture among the children and the youth.

· Adheres to the policies and procedures of JRS in the implementation of programs.

· Organizes/conducts regular evaluation of the sessions with the children/youth.

· Evaluates the session plans of the other facilitators regarding the youth interventions and submits the same to the Youth Coordinator.

· Participates in the meetings/evaluations arranged by the Project/Country Office

· Maintains the records of each youth/children in form of e-diary/personal diary.

Periodically, checks the records/diary of the youth volunteers related to the students at the EOTS volunteer program.

Job Requirement

. University degree in relevant fields
· Good knowledge of written and spoken English
· Relevant teaching/training qualification preferable
· Previous teaching/training experience preferable
