About Norwegian Afghanistan Committee: The Norwegian Afghanistan Committee (NAC) is a member-based solidarity organization that has been working in support and solidarity with the Afghan people for more than 35 years. Job Description
Major Duties and Responsibilities
IT Task
Monitoring computer systems for malfunctions and errors.
Performing maintenance and updates on hardware and software system as needed.
Installation of new hardware such as computers, Printers and other Peripherals.
Troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues.
Implementing repairs and updates based on diagnostic assessments.
Keeping and maintaining computers and IT equipment.
Installing new hardware such as computers, Printers sharing with different departments, Scanner and other peripherals.
Installing, configuring, and updating software such as MS Office 365, Office 2021, antivirus, and Windows 11, 10, 7
Perform and provide LAN support, troubleshooting and services for smooth running all needed IT operations and troubleshoot network problem
Provide support to users in Office 365
To ensure ICT policies, procedures, systems and tools are correctly applied to assist NAC staff
Configuring Outlook and OneDrive for staff
Configuring Microsoft Team and how to use it for internal and external communication
Installation and managing of MikroTik Router inside the office and should have practical experience
Configuring and maintaining the TP-Link Wi-Fi Access Points
Any other task which is assigned by Supervisor
Admin Tasks
Manage the day-to-day operations of the office, staff house, base comps and make sure everything is going well
Arrangement of the vehicles and transport to ensure smooth implementation of the projects
Provide strong coordination and cooperation among support staff and program team for effectiveness of program
Ensure that all utility bills (electricity, water, telephones, kitchen expenses, etc.) are processed and paid on time
Updating fixed assets and stock time to time based on NAC database and maintain stores and stock records properly
Control the recording and updating inventory of the fixed assets of the office, guest house and in the field
Any other task will be given by supervisors based on need
Job Requirement
Language requirements, if any
Dari, English and basic Pashto
Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s degree in IT (information technology) or computer science
Priority will be given to local candidates, and local qualified candidates are highly encouraged to apply
Work Experience
At least two -year experience in relevant tasks with National or international NGOs
Skills
Knowledge to work with MS Office 365 and 2021
Must have knowledge of working with Microsoft Teams and OneDrive
Knowledge of Hardware and Software installation
Must have strong knowledge of MikroTik Router Installation and configuration
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Treating good behavior
